The Illustrated Magazine of New Writing; Popshot is an illustrated literary magazine that publishes short stories, flash fiction, and poetry from the literary new blood.
From the very first issue, we've always wanted Popshot to be a platform for some of the most exciting new writing from around the globe, priding ourselves on the fact that our contributors are chosen for the quality of their work, rather than the influence of their names. Subsequently, the magazine has become known as one of the finest places to find literary and illustrative talent with Dazed & Confused naming it as "a who isn't yet who of contemporary literature".
FOR THE WRITERS
Popshot is now open for literary submissions for its tenth issue. We're looking for original, thought-provoking writing that will address the theme, and fascinate and engage our readers.
* The theme is ‘Wild’.
* Poems must be up to 25 lines.
* Short fiction must be up to 2,000 words.
* Send up to 3 poems/short stories per submission.
* Please include a paragraph or two about yourself, and a short description of what inspired the writing that you have submitted.
* Submit poems/short stories within the body of the email to submit@popshotpopshot.com by July 25th 2013 at the very latest.

We're always on the lookout for talented illustrators - both emerging and established - who can produce beautiful editorial and narrative illustration work in response to the poetry and short fiction that we publish.
